NEW STUDENT CHECKLIST
Submit a Prospective Student Application before 1/31/26. All other applications submitted after this date will only be considered if a second Enrollment Lottery is run.
Read our NPA Prospective Parent Letter.
Attend a school tour, this is required for all new families. This can be done either before or after acceptance. However, we highly recommend attending a tour before acceptance to ensure that NPA is a good fit for your family.
Accept your student's enrollment offer within 48 hours of receiving the offer. Please email akewell@npacademy.org with your acceptance answer.
Bring in your student's required documentation:
Birth Certificate - Original document in order for us to make a copy. Required to hold your student's spot and needed prior to completing registration.
Immunization records OR Immunization exemption Form.
Health Appraisal Form (Kindergarten students only) - You will get this filled out by your doctor at their 5 year Well Check.
Complete Registration - Registration is open February 2, 2026 and you will be emailed a link to complete this. Please read all of our policies carefully while completing this process. This will officially enroll your student at NPA for the upcoming school year.
Purchase uniforms: PLEASE REFERENCE OUR UNIFORM GUIDELINES PAGE BEFORE PURCHASE. A more detailed PDF is listed here for specifics as well. If you have questions about any uniform items, please contact the Front Office and we will be happy to help.
Initial Summer Assessments - This is a requirement for ALL newly enrolled students:
KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS:
Dates TBD: Initial Summer Assessment (15-30 min) - Schedule for sign-ups will be posted HERE when they are made available. This will help us determine their placement in our AM or PM class.
1ST-8TH GRADE STUDENTS
Dates TBD: Initial Summer Assessment (15-30 min) - Schedule for sign-ups will be posted HERE when they are made available. This will help us determine their placement in reading and math classes.
Attend our NPA Open House - This is where you will find out who your student's teacher is and have a chance to meet them, pick up your carpool tags, attend Kindergarten Orientation, Receive your JRH student's schedule and locker assignment, ask any questions you may have, etc. A schedule will be sent to you as the day grows near.
First Day of School:
AMK: DATE TBD - 8:00 am (arrival starting at 7:35 am) / Dismissal at 11:00 am.
FDK: DATE TBD - 8:00 am (Arrival starting at 7:35 am) / Dismissal at 3:00 pm.
1st-8th Grade: DATE TBD - 8:00 am (Arrival starting at 7:35 am) / Dismissal at 3:00 pm.
