How We Support Students

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Teachers use clear instruction, assessment, progress monitoring, and flexible grouping to respond to student learning needs. Families with an academic concern should begin with the classroom teacher or contact the Front Office for help reaching the correct person.

PATH, BEHAVIOR, AND BELONGING

PATH gives students and adults a shared language for the habits and behaviors that support learning and belonging. Expectations are explicitly taught, students receive reminders and opportunities to reset, and positive choices are recognized through Trailblazers.

FAMILY PARTNERSHIP

Families are important partners in student success. When a concern develops, school staff work with students and families to understand the situation, identify next steps, and connect the student with the appropriate support.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES

Navigator Pointe Academy provides access to school-approved special education and Section 504 processes for eligible students. Families can learn more on the Special Education and Section 504 page or contact the Front Office.

Where Should I Start?

1. START WITH THE TEACHER

2. CONTACT THE FRONT OFFICE

3. CONNECT WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

For classroom learning, assignments, or routine classroom concerns, contact the student’s teacher first when possible.

For attendance, records, enrollment, general questions, or help finding the correct staff member, contact the Front Office.

When a concern requires additional assistance, the school will connect the family with the appropriate administrator, support team, special education contact, or Section 504 contact.
